La Fanfarria del Capitán travels the world sharing and expanding the limits of their music. They are travelers, story tellers, taking melodies from all parts of the globe developing a unique and thrilling sound. They perform a special blend of latin rythms, rock, balkan & cumbias.

Founded in 2005, since 2011 they play 100 concerts a year through Latinamerica, Europe, Ukraine, Russia, China and Japan.

They are the first Argentinean band to play in Kosovo, to tour in China, to make 10.000km by bus non-stop in Rusia. And to produce all independently.

They have four released albums: Flores del Bosque de Bolonia (2007), E Viva! (2012), Fanfarria Latina (2014) and La Giravida (2016). For this last work they travelled to Macedonia to record together with the Kocani Orkestar.

For 2019 they are recording a new album Magias de Hoy with collaborations of important artists including Amsterdam Klezmer Band and playing 40 gigs around all Europe.

In July 2019 they will be part of the Netflix Series Money Heist. An important collaboration that came up thanks to their version of popular song Bella Ciao.

La Fanfarria del Capitan is supported by the Secretary of Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina and thousands of local friends who complete the magic of this adventure.
